I’m pleased to announce that Fair Housing and History of Discrimination has been approved by the New Mexico Real Estate Commission (NMREC) for 4 hours of CE credit! The course is based on the alternative fair housing outline published by the National Association of REALTORS®.
Beginning January 1, 2025. All NAR members will be required to complete and approved fair housing course as a condition of REALTOR® membership. This requirement is in addition to the NAR triennial ethics requirement. The current cycle runs through December 31. 2027.
While MESA Real Estate Institute cannot guarantee that each association in New Mexico will accept this course as an alternative to At Home with Diversity or Fairhaven, I expect some, if not all, New Mexico associations will recognize the course since it follows the NAR’s published outline. Brokers, however, will need to check with their associations to confirm.
