Handling Multiple Offers Ethically & Effectively

Handling Multiple Offers Ethically and Effectively

Handling Multiple Offers Ethically and Effectively

Perhaps no situation presents more professional and ethical challenges to real estate licensees than the multiple offer situation. In this class, we’ll examine the National Association of Realtors Code of Ethics and the New Mexico Real Estate Commission’s Broker Duties and apply the principals to the presentation and negotiation of multiple offers.

This class satisfies your ethics requirement for license renewal!

We’ll also talk about preparing your buyer and seller clients for the multiple offer process, which forms and procedures to use, escalation clauses, love letters and how to win at multiple offers.

In this class, you will learn:

  • How the Code of Ethics and Broker Duties apply to multiple offer situations
  • Proper Use of RANM Forms in multiple offer situations
  • Escalation Clauses
  • Love Letters
  • How to help your buyer clients win at multiple offers!

This class was written and developed by Rich Cederberg, Institute Director and Primary Instructor, and at this time is not offered by any other instructors.

“Handling Multiple Offers Ethically and Effectively was designed to connect the dots between the Code of Ethics and New Mexico Broker Duties and the issues faced by Realtors and licensees as they grapple with how to behave during swift-moving multiple offer negotiations.”
